SR603-Flowbee Posted January 6, 2021 Author Posted January 6, 2021 Glad you like it. Of all the skins I've made this is my favourite. The pastel grey/blues with the dirt matt colors on top of the fuselage just works. I will probably get lost in playing about with variations of this camo for a while. That top mottle was really hard to get just right. 1 1

SR603-Flowbee Posted January 9, 2021 Author Posted January 9, 2021 "Feel free to share variations." I've made a few but am veering towards doing more creative (semi-historical) stuff with more regards to color and pattern rather than just copying the handful of documented schemes. It's not everyones cup of tea but I enjoy it as it leads off the beaten path. This is a 109 G6 that started off as Heinrich Bartel's 11./JG27 Red 13 and ended up an unknown JG26 aircraft. I'll post some up and maybe some of them might have merit. Keeps me happy anyway. https://www.mediafire.com/file/6xkzuksplwy05mc/Bf109G6+White+3+JG26+Unknown+v4.dds/file 8 1 3
Madcop Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 and had some hours with the "Pik As" JG53.........well used airframe and quite remarkable for the time....?
SR603-Flowbee Posted January 9, 2021 Author Posted January 9, 2021 (edited) It's a shame when the only noteworthy thing is an emblem. Probably best I keep my Frankenstein creations to myself. Edited January 9, 2021 by SR603-Flowbee 1 1

What I like is your style of skinning that is always producing interesting liveries that look like they could be historical even if they are not. Your colors, weathering, alpha, and painting style are very good. I like the variations. 1 1 3

Do not take it too seriously I was just kidding , I knew it was not historical .I just wanted to point out that Gaby had travelled a lot in different Geschwader, in very though and uncertain days of the times. I like your work, but, sorry , I have a pronounced taste for " as closest possible of the history and reality " .But that doesn't prevent me to appreciate the artist ! Keep on the good work. Madcop 1
Trooper117 Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 As much as I like historical skins, I also like creative skins like yours Flowbee. They look plausible, and I applaud the time you have taken to produce them. I'm playing a flight simulator 'game'... it's not real life, and if I like the look of a skin I'll use it, historical or not. Please keep producing them 3 1
