Custom Skin Exported as dds, can select it in game, looks default

Hey, having some custom skin troubles here.

Created a basic custom skin, exported as a dds from photoshop using Nvidia's developer tools.
Put it in the correct folder (Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\graphics\skins\Yak1s69).
Can select it in game and view it in the skin viewer, but it looks like the default skin.

What went wrong?

Issue fixed with help on Reddit, hadn't done my alpha channel
