Pennato Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 I'm about to install a new DLC, Battle of Kuban, and I'm already using several mods. How should I proceed? Should I deactivate those mods, add the DLC and re-activate or simply go ahead with the installation? Thanks in advance.
Mitthrawnuruodo Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 You don't "install" any "DLC". All the files for Battle of Kuban are already present - buying the product just activates it for your account. You don't need to do anything with the mods. 1

FlyingH Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 BUT when there´s an update you need to deactivate the mods before running the update! 1

I've helped a few people through problems on the tech issues forum that were, at the heart, the result of mods not working with new updates. They were bugs that seemingly had nothing to do with the mods in question, and not everyone with the mod got the problem. It's the first thing I ask when people are having problems, because its consistently a source of weirdness, and at the very least it's something you have to deal with to rule it out as the source of the bug. You can get lucky, and the fewer mods you have going the less likely it is to cause you problems. But at the end of the day its a gamble.
