Hello.

Having owned the game for quite sometime, I had decided to get a little more serious and received a T.Flight Hotas 4 (which was a major upgrade let me tell you!).  This worked just fine for my purposes and WAS working fine until I received a Razer TARTARUS (yes, I know having now viewed the forums of a conflict with many other software, including flightsticks) which I intended to use for other games.  Unfortunately, this has somehow over written (as far as I can tell) the Thrustmaster.  I have viewed the topics, especially here:

and here:

I have confirmed that the joystick is working, (in Windows - all buttons and axis etc are working, drivers are fuctional etc) but alas it does now no longer work in IL2 BoS at all.  I use a Steam copy, with addons purchased via the website/ steam from the cross linking that was done years ago within the offical store.

Now, I have tried to edit the file, (the INPUT folder) as suggested by the second post and can see that there is a lot of conflict mentioned already with regards to the Razer and Flight sticks, but that does not solve the issue.  It did read (after the Razer was installed):

configId,guid,model|

0,%226d3ba830-46a0-11eb-0000545345440580%22,Joystick%20(Razer%20Tartarus%20V2)|

2,%2269b47ba0-26ea-11ea-0000545345440180%22,6%20axis%2014%20button%20device%20with%20hat%20switch

As far as my understanding goes (computer wise) the second line, with the Razer in mind is obviously the issue.  Its obviously an issue with the Razer as the flight stick was working just fine before plugging it in and doing the install.  Now, if it was as simple as uninstalling the Razer everytime I wished to play I could live with that, but that also doesn't remedy the situation.

The INPUT now reads:  configId,guid,model|

And that's it.

I tried uninstalling the thrustmaster driver and reinstalling it, all to no avail and as such I have exhausted my knowledge of these things - obviously using the forums here and elsewhere.  I have verified the cache etc, unplugged the joystick and plugged it back in and in all honesty I am at a complete loss as to how get the joystick to work.

I hope this all makes sense and would glady accept any realistic suggestions as to how to get back to a game we all enjoy.  Thank you for taking the time to read all of this.

Steam sucks AGAIN, and they changed this settings option that probably would have fixed that:

(old controller settings especially for Cliffs)

game settings CLoD.jpg

this seems to be the new option page, try enabling this?

Or this:
