Error loading model massage in VR (Rift S)

Hello

 

I got the game just a few weeks ago and I play only in VR. I use an Oculus Rift S, Windows 10 and my GPU is a Radeon RX 590. Anyways, the first 20h the game was all dandy and fine but during a campaign mission of the "Battle of the Rhineland" addon I suddenly got an error massage that the game failed to load an object. I cant remember what but the game continued to run, the moment I pressed Okay on the error massage (after I finished my mission) the game gave me a blue-screen.

Since then I can hardly play the game in VR. It let me start the game and choose my mission etc. but the moment it has to load into the cockpit I get these kind of error massages (screenshots attached). As you can see on one of the screenshots, the moment it gives me the error some parts of the map get turned red.

 

It does not matter if it is the Rhineland Map, the Stalingrad or the Moscow one. As a side note, this error does not appear when I play the game normally, not in VR.

I already reinstalled the Oculus Software, my GPU Drivers and the game itself. Everything is is up to date.

Hello, thanks for the fast reply.

 

I did tewak my ram a bit, but still within the limits of the manufacturer. All my benchmarks etc. told me everything is fine with it and the game did run for 20h but you never know.

I will set it back to default and give it a try.

So I did put everything back to the factory settings and it somehow got worse. Dont know if it is related.  I cant start the game now in VR using Steam. I need to start it using the library in the oculus software. The error is still the same. ?

 

guess this is the same problme as shown here

EDIT: After reading this thread i got the idea that it somehow has something to do with the radeon drivers and indeed there has been an update during my playtime. So  I deinstalled the latest radeon drivers and let windows 10 install the dafault drivers of the gpu. The game runs now normal again. Not rally happy with this solution but it worked. The error came with the radeon-software-adrenalin-2020-20.12.1 software.
