Can you help ? how do i get rid of the red cross and white circle when aiming !!!! I have tried everything in the know Universe !

If you're using mouse control there is no way to disable those.

In the Realism menu, uncheck Aim Assist and Bomb Assist

@Rickrick123 here's a technique you might want to add to your tool kit. Suppose you want (or in my case NEED) to practice bombing, strafing or firing rockets. In the realism settings check Aiming assist, Bombing assist, and Unlimited ammo. 

 

 

Having checked Aiming & Bombing assist now gives you the option to toggle that symbology on/off by using [RCtrl] + [ I ]. If you do not have those checked on the Realism screen the aiming help toggle will NOT work. I use this technique when I need to practice in a QMB sortie after dropping really bad bombs in my SP careers. A professional never blames his tools.

Why on earth is this? I've been struggling to find a way to turn off that dratted white circle, but I can't without abandoning the use of the mouse for my gunner? Grrrrr. ?

I think you can get away without aim assist if you use the mouse just for the gunner. I cant recall ever having aim assist unless I optioned it on.  I cant remember if the superimposed yellow sight appears if you are not leaning to the gunner's sight but i always did anyone. not that it made any different to my shooting. .

Here's what I can't seem to get rid of, every assist turned off and  tried with the option busdriver pointed out as well.

 

 

 

The Ju88 is a bit of a law unto itself anyway; I can't think of another plane in the sim where the bomb aimer has to stand up to handle his gun.

If you “nestle up to gunsight” I believe that the gunner aim assist does not show. I can’t remember what the default control is to do this, but it is in the weapons key mapping category.

I guess the circle remains even if you nestle.
