Marvel Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 Hello guys, after a Nvidia driver update, I have a flashing blackout never experienced till now. Someone have experienced the same issue? It is very annoyng and not confortable to flight & fight....? The last driver update has installed the 460.89 of 12/15/2020. Many thanks for all your help! Ciao! M
firdimigdi Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 No but usually flashing black screens are connection-related. Remove the cable from both ends, PC and HMD, and re-connect them.
Marvel Posted December 28, 2020 Author Posted December 28, 2020 (edited) Hi, thanks for suggestion mate, but maybe it was another problem: I checked in the settings mixed reality page and I set the frame rate at 60 Hz; the previous was "windows choice" (sorry for my bad translation, I am trying to translate from Italian Windows). I also tried to set a frame rate at 90 Hz but I had again flashing blackout, so I setted definetely 60 Hz as frame rate. I don't know wich was previous Windows setting, nor do I know what the right setting should be I have not experience with these settings, so 60 Hz frame rate is ok for my HP Reverb? Ciao! M It sure is as long as you are happy with it. Some are sensitive to the lower refresh rate and it bothers them.

Now with a 60 Hz frame rate the game is came back as previous. Thanks for your replies and interest, mates! ? Ciao! M
