Reptilian Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 The other day I continued playing my stalingrad campaign when I found that the smoke had turned orange. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I have also uninstalled the mods and this is still the result. What could be causing it then?
Dutch2 Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 (edited) Even using JSGME and always swapping back before any game update, some mods do leave leftovers, I think this is a result from a mod thats conflicting. Edited December 27, 2020 by Dutch2 1
69th_Mobile_BBQ Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 I've seen sunlight and atmosphere conditions make things appear orange IRL. Maybe this is just lightning system that the devs have come up with.
kendo Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 I got something similar when using Supersampling in nVidia control panel. If you are using that, try switching to Multisample. 3 1
cardboard_killer Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 I'm sorry, but it has to be done. 3
Reptilian Posted December 27, 2020 Author Posted December 27, 2020 Thanks for the replies. I'm going to try Dutch2, I had read something about that, to see if I get used to doing it ? Kendo, thanks genius is what you said ?? Solved! 1
Reptilian Posted January 9, 2021 Author Posted January 9, 2021 I just realized that you created this thread in the "Mods" section and should have put it under "Technical issues and bug reports". That happens to me for having so many windows open ? Forgive me for the confusion it may have caused you all
-=[]=-little-Guardian Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 Thanks a lot, had the same problem, which was driving me nuts . . . Your solution works: switched from supersampling to multisampling and the orange smoke is gone. I would have never found this on my own, so thank you for your help! greetings the little Guardian

kendo Posted February 8, 2021 Posted February 8, 2021 No problem. Glad to help. I found the solution purely by accident myself. ? [To the moderators:: could this thread be moved to the 'Technical Issues and Bug Reports' section. Would be more useful there than here in Mods. Thanks.]
