Assign pedals for tank movement

Hey Guys,

I have racing pedals and wanted to bind them for the tank movements but unfortunetaly its only one axis to assign so no two seperate forward backwards axis etc. so it isn't possible to assign the brake for backwards and the throttle for forward movement, wchich is really sad because it would be pretty cool to drive the tank with pedals.

Is there any way to actually get this bound?

I use the rudder pedals to turn the tank and the throttle lever to move it forward/backward. That way is also more comfortable because most of the time the tank is going straight and I don't touch anything; for light turns I apply light rudder.

Yes,using rudder pedals here too,to steer the tank, they work a treat.

I have the same problem, recently aquired Thrustmaster TFRP. Tried to make one pedal the forward acceleration and the other brake / backward acceleration. Unfortunately, the game recognises one pedal alone as complete joystick axis, which means letting go of the pedal is interpreted as going backwards. This means to keep the tank still I have to keep the pedal slightly pressed. This makes it almost unuseable, as I have to press esc when the tank stands still in order to be able to get my foot off the pedal without causing backwards driving.

So in short, how can I assign two joystick axes to one setting? Or is there another workaround?

EDIT: Got it working with joy to key. Nifty little program.

EDIT2: But this way I lose the ability to dose my throttle - is there any other way?
