let players interact with the mission logic

I am looking for ways to interact with the mission to launch reinforcements or artillery strikes for instance. 
At the moment, I am using serverinput MCU but the way to interact with them that are not so good in terms of user experience.

So far I am using some in game chat commands by monitoring the chat logs or external programs like discord or a website to let players send commands.
But I would like something more simple. Someone pointed me to the fact that in RoF it was possible to display flash buttons.
Apparently this option is still available in the mission editor (Translator: media -> media Type flash) but I guess it is deprecated?
Any other methods ? 

It would be great to be able to add custom options  in the command menu '²' ...

I think flash scripts should still be possible.

The game has 2 prebuilt flash tools inside (but I don't know how to use them)

and from flash tool iirc 16 different actions can be triggered inside the mission.

 

I've updated an existing and already modded flash script in RoF a long time ago (photo recon)

but was not able to change it so it can be used in BoX, too.

Main reason for that seems to be, that some of the main functions used (getting live position data of needed objects) are no longer supported in BoX...

?sad. I tried to load some random .swf but no effect in game...
I am still looking for a MVP that do something in game
