Hello, 

and Merry Christmas to you all!

 

 I would like to design a mission where AI planes would be seen in a distance as friends by the player and allied AI’s and then, change their behavior to became axis planes when approaching.

 

In two words, I would have a captured P47 flying in an interception vector from 20km to a bombers flight (player’s flight). This P47 would become seen as an aggressor when coming at identification’s distance (let’s say 2km).

Once it has been identified as enemy, it should not come back as friend again, even if he’s going away (more that these 2km radius).

 

So two questions:

1- is that possible?

2- how to do it?

There's a catch. The catch is that any allied plane that is not part of the group and inside the influence of the Proximity Trigger will switch the 'Toggle Planes' to Axis.

Sure. And to make it triggers once only, I would put a deactivate somewhere, right?

Once it's Axis, it should stay Axis. BBBUuuttt to be safe, yes put a Timer between the Proximity and cmdBehavior, and link it to a Deactivate and then back to the timer.
