porks46porksf1sr Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 (edited) Hi chaps, after some help if I may, I am trying to get the waypoint markers to show in the sky, the ones that look like map pins on the popular search engine but are yellow and disappear once you go through them. I cannot see what I am doing wrong. I have made plenty of dogfight missions but am struggling with just this one thing, please could you take a look as to where I am going wrong? I would be very grateful as I am trying to build a campaign for our squadron. I have the nav icons enabled in the difficulty settings on the Dserver. Thank you. Cooperative.zip Its ok, I think I have the answer, I need to activate the waypoint on mission begin or on took off. Thank you anyway. Edited December 21, 2020 by porks46porksf1sr addition
JimTM Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Assuming that the map pin icons work with coop missions (I only tested single-player missions), check the following: The waypoints for the plane you are testing are all object linked to that plane. In your plane, enable the HUD (in-game control is "Show/hide entire HUD") and show the navigation markers (in-game control is "Show/hide instrument panel, navigation and map markers"). Aside: You have a special character (i.e., a box) in the names of your planes. As a general rule, it's best to avoid special characters in names because they may cause issues. For example, an apostrophe in a name can prevent you from opening the mission in the editor.
