Is the December sale 75% off ?

I found one online coupon for 75% off of everything on IL-2: Great Battles. I'm guessing I just use the online coupon as a promo code. Am I correct on that?

I've never heard of an online coupon for IL-2. The IL-2 site has had promo codes, but I think I'd check with customer support about an online coupon before I ordered lest  you be stuck paying full price.

 

I'm assuming they aren't from/marked for Steam use.

I'm thinking the online coupon is the same thing as a promo code. Is there not a sale for 75% off for this month for IL-2 Great Battles? The coupon code is not for Steam I don't think.

I can't for the life of me believe they would end a sale before the holidays even get here. I postponed buying all the collector planes thinking the sale would last till the New Year.

If they don't have one again this week, it won't be long before the next. I don't think more than two months have ever passed between sales, although nothing is written in stone.

I'm guessing Battle of Normandy will always be 10% off before it's released. It was never on sale for more than that was it? I was thinking about getting it right now just so I can fly the Bf 109G-6 "late". I would hate to get it for $79.99 and then have it be on sale for more before or when it's released.

Yes - it should remain at the constant pre-order discount until release... usually the post-release sales don't go below the pre-order discount until at least nine months after release (if I recall correctly)... so a larger discount won't be around until 2023 (or very late in 2022 if we are lucky). At least that is my guess - I'm not affiliated with the companies involved.

I think we can all guarantee you that, based on every single last title released, the early access discount will be the only discount applied between now and the time of Battle of Normandy's release (which I'm guessing will be early 2022). The first bigger discount is usually 4-6 months after that and it's often not much more than the pre-order discount. Once you get into the 6-12 months after release is when you see the slightly bigger discounts coming in.

Why you need the Bf 109G-6 "late" the late is more and less a renamed G-14.
