Snacko Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 (edited) I received my Reverb G2 a few weeks ago and am just getting back into flying. When I spawn into the pit, my head is too low in the seat. I am looking straight into the joystick . I have also tried moving the head using the Insert, Home keys and the Del, End PgUp, PgDn, and all the numpad keys. Nothing moves the head at all. What am I missing? I use that method to set my head view for a particular plane on the monitor in 2d mode and save it with F10. I then go back to VR to test and see if I need to adjust it a little again on the monitor. There are some have luck with VR headset just adjusting their head where they want it and pressing F10. Edited December 19, 2020 by dburne 1
Panzerlang Posted December 20, 2020 Posted December 20, 2020 There's a keybind in the game for VR head-centering, works perfectly for me. 1

dburne Posted December 20, 2020 Posted December 20, 2020 (edited) I "think" he is saying his default VR view is off and too low. Edit: Upon reading again maybe not, and yes in that case need to re-center vr view, best to assign to a button. I read to fast sometimes... Edited December 20, 2020 by dburne

I'm always started too far back from the instrument panel, so I push myself back in the seat, hit the center button, then sit forward again.
Drum Posted December 20, 2020 Posted December 20, 2020 The Insert, Home keys and the Del, End PgUp, PgDn, and all the numpad keys won't work within VR, as dburne stated for that you will need to enter the game with VR turned off. 1

Thanks, that worked. I turned off VR HMD and set the correct head position in 2D view. So I guess I'll have to check every other plane in 2D view and see if they need fixing. 1

SvAF/F16_Goblin Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Assign a button of Your choice to save the position for the view in each plane. Go in VR on tarmac in each plane and position the view as Youwant it and the n press the button. Voila the position for each plane is saved. No need to hussle with 2d and 3d view. Also assign every command to centre the views in game to one single button and avoid any misalignment in VR.
