After great research and fact checking.... I have been playing Pat's campaign generator and ,

 

SO far,

 

The ground is by far more dangerous than the enemy planes   LOL...

Well if your off line then yes your probably right. But multiplayer some of the pilots in there are pretty damn good. But being more of a bomber we have as much problem with the ground crews as we do with the nasty axis of evil (Central).

They are a few very decent instruction videos on Youtube on how to land an specific WW1 plane. Like this sample:

I'd recommend focusing on one a/c in the beginning. Learn to fly that a/c competently, then branch out to others. I still have many a/c I've never flown after a couple years of ownership.
