FTC_Tobi_der_Ossi Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 (edited) Since the last update i have massive Problems when starting IL2. I get the error Message : no connection to authorization server /unable to connect to Master Server. I never had this Problem before. I searched allready here in the Forum and on the Steam Community Forum about this Problem. Yesterday i managed to get into IL2 after arround 25 attempts. Today it dosent work at all. I tested it to restart my Computer and my Router. Tested VR and Non-VR Version. Tested Steam and the non steam .exe from the IL2 Folder with Admin Permission. Im running Win10. Does anyone has a good Solution or has the same Problem since the Update? I would really like to play again Multiplayer and hope there will be a Solution soon for this Problem. EDIT: After around 10 new attempts of clicking on the log in button again and again it worked. Its frustrating to spend every day several Minutes with log-in problems. Bushmantw Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 Exactly same problem for me, i sent a ticket to support but so far no solution
vonGraf Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 I had this for a while in the past when I used 'virtual super resolution' in my AMD card; the game started only after the 4 - 5th attempt. But not this extreme you described. Now it's gone because I dont use this feature anymore.
FTC_Tobi_der_Ossi Posted December 23, 2020 Author Posted December 23, 2020 No,the game starts just fine. Just the connection to the Masterserver failes in like 9 of 10 Attempts. In that case i could only play Singleplayer.
1CGS -DED-Rapidus Posted December 25, 2020 1CGS Posted December 25, 2020 @Tobi_der_Ossi, most likely, you have a problem with communication or antivirus, and in some cases, adding Il-2 to the lists of excluded applications in the firewall helps.

No, even with deactivated Firewall and Windows Defender deactivated it made this Problem. I only had this since the last Update.
1CGS -DED-Rapidus Posted December 25, 2020 1CGS Posted December 25, 2020 @Tobi_der_Ossi, and the problem continues to this day? Steam version?
