Styx13 Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 Dear Devs, As I mentioned in several topics, this franchise slowly but surely became better and better. I would like to ask you to rethink the complexity of generated WWII air combats (so only in BoM, BoS, BoK, BoP, BoN). Please consider some of the possible radio orders (and AI finetune) below: 1. To Squad: Rejoin to the leader. / AI = The sqn. leader separates from combat and will be followed. 2. To Squad: Regroup at a geographical location. / AI = Escape (dive) from combat and regroup. The place might be marked in the Planning Room. 3. To Squad: Reporting claims. / AI = Automated message if some of your squadmates shot down anybody. 4. To Squad: Reporting losses. / AI = Partly works, but hard to follow the events. 5. To Squad: Reporting in. / AI = To be able to follow the strentgh of your squad. 6. To Squad: Break off. / AI = Interrupt ground attack/landing etc. and concentrate on air enemies nearby. 7. To Squad: Attack the bombers/fighters and disappear. / AI = Thinking on BoP, where the LW fought in disadvantage. One strike, than fly home. 8. To HQ: Reporting enemy air unit in a grid. / AI = Every available fighters are to be sent to your loacion. If there isn't any the answer can be simple. (In BoP sometimes LW units doesn't find each other and the enemy just circling over a location and keep waiting.) 9. To HQ: Reporting enemy ground concentrations. / AI = Same, but with ground attack units. 10. To HQ: Reporting no enemy in the given area. / AI = Can reply go home, or can give you a new location. I think these "small" (sorry I am not an expert on how to implement it) changes can result a larger imporvement in the SP sim experience. These are only proposals, a whisful thinking or a virtual brain storming, not criticism. Thanks for listening. Best, 5

JG27_Steini Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 (edited) Totally agree here. As a small improvment it would be when there is a response to radio messages. A simple "Roger that" or "Viktor" (german codeword) would be very great and problably easy to implement. Every pilot should have some messages for the flight. It is very important to have some kind of communication. Much more immersive than the auto report of enemies or landing requests. Edited February 13, 2021 by JG27_Steini
