IL2, G2VR, SimShakerWings, Anti-Virus and Discord.

So, fire up SimShaker (AV on, which seems to be ok after turning AV off in order to set SSW up). Test button works fine. Fire up IL2 in VR, usual dance around with the mouse cursor not working, "press winkey + Y" which works/doesn't work as it pleases, press alt-tab to jiggle shit usually works to a point (cursor is either in the headset or in the twin-images on the desktop), quick mission, no SSW. Alt-tab to SSW, test button no longer works. SSW now completely dead, no lazarus.

That's before we get into discord sound stops working (mic remains working), going into its setting and selecting the output device that's already selected makes it work again.

Pat's campaign works through it all. In a co-op game, once struggled into, only SSW no longer works.

I have no idea what programme is screwing with the other programs (or combo thereof). Maybe this is the new window's deal, it can't handle shit.

Oh and I can't alt-tab or alt-esc to desktop from IL2, only get a group of task-bar boxes up (and/or the desktop taskbar itself). Meanwhile my brother can alt-tab to desktop. No idea what's going on there, clearly not an IL2 issue.

Detail...game sound from onboard Realtek, SSW from PCi xFi Titanium sound-card. The USB DAC box that was having the exact same issues just suddenly died while I was plugging and unplugging it, it came back to life briefly but could no longer be selected in SSW's drop-down box.

My suspicion is on the WMR and/or SteamVR software. I would try firing up IL2 VR first and then the SSW but I can't alt-tab to desktop once in IL2.

Win+D gets to desktop from IL2-2D but doesn't work in VR.
Alt-Esc in IL2-VR brings up the taskbar. From there I can get to apps/SSW.
Fire up SSW, test-button works.
Get back into IL2, begin the merry-go-round of Win+Y, alt-tab, alt-esc, manage to finally get a cursor working (might be in the headset, might be on the twin images on the monitor). Get a quick mission going, SSW is working.

The guy who made the in-game drivers for the G2, they should get him working on the WMR/SteamVR portal shit. The guy responsible for the current WMR/SteamVR shit, he needs to be given his cards.
