Map measuring tool ?

Salute All,

 

Is there by chance a tool that measures distance in meters using say ...the IL2 mission planner ?  Thanks in advance.

In the Mission Editor there is a tool called "Measure Mode".  It's the second icon from the left in the second row, just under 'View'.

Click it anywhere on the map and move it.  It gives you the distance in Meters plus the heading.  If you move it again after the first click it gives you the total meters from the start point, distance in meters of that segment and that segments heading.

By dividing the distance by the speed you can also figure approximate flight time for each segment.
