steppenwolf Posted May 26, 2014 Author Posted May 26, 2014 (edited) Nice! Shame the Unreal 4 demo was slightly marred by screen tearing. Yeah, that is sadly ironic. Edited May 26, 2014 by steppenwolf
steppenwolf Posted May 26, 2014 Author Posted May 26, 2014 They discussed exactly that in the video. Voxels are like the graphical equivalent of molecules. Not only do they have visual attributes but can also have physical attributes such as temperature and tension etc. Sorry, I just accidentally deleted what I typed when I tried to reply to your post. Dah. Yes, no need for particle effects animations; it's all simulated. Things behave like they're made from molecules. One thing that bothers me about Effects is that you get the same ones over and over...and over again. I can't wait to see this kind of stuff in games.
steppenwolf Posted May 26, 2014 Author Posted May 26, 2014 In a couple of years? Shit lol, not on any computer I'll own. But let's hope so. I can't wait for game objects and matter to be more than wire frames and skins!
