Some servers remove Stalingrad and other urban areas, this looks terrible to me, perhaps if the polygon count could be lowered for individual buildings (remove chimneys, porches and things that you don't really see as you fly (except maybe in a U2!) this would help performance for some people and let Stalingrad and other urban areas be included in those servers. I also get quite poor performance on the Rhineland map, off and online, when the cities are drawn in, maybe simpler sets of buildings could help there. Of course this wouldn't necessarily help I dont' know what makes the performance drop so that the servers remove buildings, or exactly what aspect of the Rhineland cities and towns causes the delay to be drawn. But if servers remove buildings it can't just be me an my admittedly older machine suffering? Anyway, just a suggestion. Benefits: Realism/immersion etc.

The maps in the mission editor are "blank" but come with templates for all the towns, cities, etc you can just load up and it drops a bunch of building entities in appropriate places. You can, of course, go and delete any not relevant to the mission, or that you don't want for any other reason
