WokeUpDead Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 I had this happen twice already while flying the Ju-88 and can't figure out why: a loud, annoying buzzer turns on and stays on. It doesn't have anything to do with diving or recovering, both times it happened in level flight. It's not about the air-brakes being extended, or gear, or flaps, or a low-fuel warning as far as I can tell. Not an engine temperature warning, nor is it caused by any damage. It appears out of nowhere for no apparent reason and stays on for a few minutes before going silent for no apparent reason. Last time I noticed it turned off when I reached 500km/h while shallow-diving back to my base, but that could have been a coincidence; it didn't turn back on when I slowed down below 500. It gets quieter in gunner and pilot and bomb-sight positions, but I can still hear it. Anyone have any idea what that buzzer is?
firdimigdi Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 The pie is ready, check the oven quick! Actually sounds like it's your contact altimeter. 1

SYN_Ricky Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 (edited) There are two keybinds that let you increase or decrease the contact altimeter setting (orange one on your altimeter). Normally you would set it at the altitude you want to relese your bombs when dive bombing, when the you hear the sound, release them. Edited December 16, 2020 by SYN_Ricky

It'll start as your cue to get ready. 1

WokeUpDead Posted December 16, 2020 Author Posted December 16, 2020 Thanks guys, I'll look into it. It must have been something I set accidentally, I was level-bombing both times it happened.
