Panzerlang Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 For a laugh I thought I'd set everything on ultra (bar the stuff I wouldn't use even if I had a quantum GPU), expecting shit to really go south. I sure didn't see any more 90s, not a smidgeon over 45 in fact, but apart from the merest hint of occasional stutter and ghosting it was mind-bogglingly smooth. Four bombers and four fighter vs eight Luft, tracers and explosions and smoke everywhere, including two bombers that blew up meters in front of me, not a single glitch. W...t...f! Lol. 1080ti, no settings changed on the G2. Somebody deserves a medal for these drivers. I flew at rooftop height over a city, through trees, smooth as a baby. In 4k-monitor quality graphics. In a headset. In my lifetime. Lol. 2 2

firdimigdi Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 I assume this is using some form of reprojection? If so, how are the artifacts when targeting? For example with Oculus' reprojection/ASW you get this very distracting flickering of the opponent's wings.

The only thing I've seen (after putting everything to ultra) is cities at long range kind of 'shimmering'. I have no idea what setting made it happen. All the planes look perfect.

I've reverted back to gentler settings in the game as there was a smidgeon of roughness in online co-op mode. I've not test-flown that yet.
