Not without a map to go with it.

Berlin April 1945, and ideally some of the area to the north as well. There are many other maps/scenarios I'd rather see first, though.

It would be nice to have, but I'd rather get the Gloster Meteor first, so that the Allies have a jet fighter as well. Plus, we already have a map to go with the Meteor.

A Meteor of No. 616 SQN RAF at Melsbroek, Belgium, early 1945. The all-white paint is to avoid friendly fire incidents from Allied forces who have only seen hostile jet aircraft before.

Despite wanting a 162, I think a Meteor Mk.III should have priority.

I also think that any new European Theater should introduce Naval Airpower and Naval (Air)Combat, preferably around the Denmark Straight and Norway as a new Map, but including the Atlantic as in BoN, for stuff like the sinking of the Bismarck and the Channel Dash.

Italy would also be nice, but I just don't like the thought of constantly operating Aircraft at 30°C+, when they have no Power and constant overheating.

I completely agree.  I wish that there would be more focus on ships, landing crafts, torpedos, battles between ships like we have between AI tanks, etc.  There's just so much that can be done.

No: I don't want quantity over quality, or else this sim will end-up like IL2 1946.

There is still lots of room for improvement regarding existing planes, as an example they should all be retextured inside, and especially their seats, because when I turn-around to check my six the pixelated mess which greets me reminds me of some games from early 1990s.

There is finite amount of resources, in my opinion it should be predominantly spent on increasing this simulation's visual and physics fidelity to wow new audience into this hobby. And it is hard to do that when certain aspects of the sim are seemingly stuck in ancient game engines.

Doubtful. It only flew operational with JG 1 after 19th April from Leck near the danish border until the end of hostilities. So you get at most only 2 weeks of operational service on a map area which does not exist in BoBP.

The He 162 is an interesting aircraft, but as already noted, it had a negligible impact on the course of the air war. If and when the developers have the capacity to add more aircraft, there are many other options that would make more sense historically. I don't think that trying to duplicate the 'what if' elements of IL-2 '46 is a sensible route to go down.

The He-162 did see some action in the last weeks of the war, even shot down a RAF fighter. However, if it were to be in a Battle of Berlin, very likely it would be a Collector plane.

More likely to see that than the Go-229 or Do-335

I beg to differ. What is sure though is that the He 162 killed an awfull lot of pilots due to several factors. Paul-Heinrich Daehne (Kdr. II./JG 1) was one of the better known to fell victim to the technical nature of this plane.

Yeah... I kindof favour that for a 1945 East scenario because of the He-162 ?

I do hope the devs consider more than just that when picking the '45 East scenario (assuming we even get one). It is a neat airplane... and if one imagines that the BMW-003 development went smoother and that the collapse of fuel supplies took an extra three months... it isn't impossible that there could've been a lot more of them.
