Voyager Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 So, I seem to recall someone mentioning that you could use some form of symbolic linking to store the aircraft skin files on a hard drive when the main game is still stored on an SSD, and was wondering if anyone A) remembers how to actually do this, and B) if this is actually a workable idea? Wanted to set up and do a Flying Circus campaign, and was downloading all of the various available FC skin packs. I'm at about 14 GB of zipped files, and I'm a little concerned that it doesn't seem to be slowing down. And I haven't even gotten into the WWII era stuff yet... Thank you, Harry Voyager
Mitthrawnuruodo Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 Never done it, but I've seen the following explanations: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=58387.0
