Planes with mirrors list.

Hey everyone is there a list of planes that have mirrors in IL2? I only own Stalingrad but my next expansion purchase will be solely based on mirror availability. As a VR user mirrors are more important than anything else :). Also can any fellow VR users share which planes have the best mirrors?

Welcome to the addiction of VR in theses battle series! I’ve got the Rift S and LOVE the inside out tracking. It’s so much more natural to look around with rather than using your thumb on a hat switch.
 

That all being said as your are more than likely to be aware of don’t forget (at least in the P-38) that the mirror has to be at its highest setting (“complex” if I recall correctly) in order to also use you nacelle “mirror” (more of a highly polished surface) to verify if your gear is down. I had mine set to one notch below on the mirror setting and was never able to verify its nose gear position from the cockpit until someone clued me in as to what the mirror setting had to be in order to use it as such.

La-5? I have that plane and can't see a mirror anywhere in the setup.

 

Thank you all it seems Bodenplatte premium is the best purchase for me.

Mirrors look great in VR, but I think they eat too much of my fps so I don't really use them.

I am not a VR user, but I feel that the P-39 has one of the best mirrors in this sim.

Thanks.  I hadn't purchased the Yak-9 yet so I wasn't aware of it.  I edited my post to add it to the list.  I assume the 9T also has it?

Would somebody pls tell me how to turn on the P-38 landing gear mirrors on the inside of each engine nacelle?  I see reflections, but never the gear when gear is down.  TIA, db

I think the gear will only show up when the mirror setting in the graphics is set to "Complex". do you know what yours is set to?

Here I am 3 years on, finally with a good VR setup but still uncompetitive due to neck limitations. Guess I better get used to playing allied ac.

 

Did the Luftwaffe really have no mirrors in any of their front line fighters, even later war?
