Returning to flight sims after 15 years away ! ( cfs , il2 lock on etc ) 

 

   More time to spend now kids have moved on.

 

Fortunate enough for a reasonable budget , spec below, although PC not yet built , I’m 4th in line for the 5900 which is the hold up, hoping a few weeks max.  

 

read many reviews on this and other excellent sites.never used VR, and really enjoying CLOD at the moment  on a 5 year old Mac , hence hedging bets with a monitor , and needed to get anyway for tv  spare room over Xmas when kids back.  

any comments or advice beyond what is posted already , realise the 6900 xt may be not fully suited as a big unknown , but with scarcity of cards was pleased to get anything into a basket (scan.co.uk)

Throttle on 2 month back order with GVL224 (avirex), using x52 for now. 

, a sim shaker seat, . Pedals,  GF3 stick , and desk mounts all from VKB 

 

 

other sims will be MSFS2020 , and DCS.
