Any news about AMD 6800?

It is supposed to release today and I see it on Amazon at double the advertised price.Does anyone have any news on its release & where it might be available at the advertised price under $500.00?

It was never advertised under $500.  $579 is for reference AMD made card add another $20 if manufacturer is different from that, if you looking to better overclocked/cooling than easily another $100-150 on top. Good luck with availability. Got mine from New Egg: rx 6800 XFX 319 Merc for $700.

Seriously My new RevebG2 is working well with my old 1080 card.Not a great FPS but very usable ( except in many ac encounters, ) so I can afford to wait for availability and reasonable prices.I get very good quality settings as well with no CTD's...so I'm still a happy camper. Any idea on when that will be.Also since most of my rig is nearly 2 years old ( but working fine with GB & Clod) should I be looking for other up to date stuff when it eventually goes to the Geek Squad for a tune up....?
