Simshaker not working with HP Reverb G2 in VR.

Got it working in non-VR but soon as I fire IL2 up in VR, nada. The Simshaker Test button also becomes dead after exiting the game and WMR.

What with the royal clusterfk of its drivers that see mouse cursor, no mouse cursor, mouse cursor only on that bit of screen...oh, now on that bit, winkey+Y does what the fk it likes as and when, yada yada, I'm close to returning it to HP.

With Simshaker set to start automatically (both at Windows start and when I fire up IL2) it crashes, every time. It also insists on popping up around 20 error messages (one after the other) saying access to a bunch of wav files is denied. I've looked in the folder they reference, it's empty.

I have no idea if Simshaker is innocent and it's the G2 software causing the issue with buttkicker in VR (as others with other headsets say it works for them) but so far it looks like I wasted £22 on it.
