tr0y Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 (edited) Hi. Wanted to test the game, but it crashes after a few seconds on the fly. Seems to be related to the joystick (Saitek Evo Force). In IL 1946 and other games it works fine, but not with IL 2 Sturmovik Desert Wings Tobruk. Use Win10, is there a solution for this? greetings Edited December 7, 2020 by tr0y
9./JG52_J-HAT Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 And in addition to zzzxxxxzzz‘s post, you can also try to rin the game in Windows 7 compatibility mode (set Launcher64.exe in the game folder to run Windows7 Compatibility Mode).
jollyjack Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 USBdeview for removing old drivers. (don't delete mouse and keyboard). JoyID for correcting ID#. Win7 mode forces DirectX 11. IMO it works for the editor in Great Battles. With Steam there is a setting under game properties which needs to be OFF for Cliffs.
