Joining a server

I am new to this game. I have BOS, BOK and BOM. How do I join a server for the multiplayer mode?

open IL2 with mods off, click log in online, click on multiplayer and then choose a server, there are some servers that lean towards being good for beginners in IL2 and other servers that are good for experienced pilots
