Panzerlang Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 (edited) GTX 1080 Ti, everything set to low as I could get it (but 4k textures still on). I could see trees and grass weren't drawn as far away, it was a clear sky so didn't see what clouds on low looked like, but the planes looked exactly the same (WW1) and I barely saw 89fps, it was silky-smooth 90fps (even wazzing along at 10m altitude amongst trees and buildings). Awesome! Still getting a 3080 asap, because MSFS will make this card cry and bleed in VR. Edited December 4, 2020 by J3Hetzer
Panzerlang Posted December 4, 2020 Author Posted December 4, 2020 (edited) Went to 'Balanced' and while I was seeing it go down to 78fps it was still smooth as silk. There's something about standing up in the cockpit (crash-landed on one wheel on the field), stepping onto the wing and looking up and down the length of a Focke Wulf. And the instrument panel, mind bending. When I got the Rift I didn't think I'd see nigh-on graphical perfection in VR in my lifetime. Edited December 4, 2020 by J3Hetzer 1
