Attention: _DED_Rapidus

Hi Rapidus,

I am trying to build on one of my previous missions (which was a Spitfire IX mission during the Battle of the Bulge) a Luftwaffe counter mission using the FW190D-9. I just can't get the 'Fockes' to take-off cleanly - they seem to spin around as though the pilot is not applying the tail wheel lock, then crash into each other? I know there is a random situation built into the mission builder (which drives me crazy!)

Could you very kindly have a look at this mission (see zip attached) and try and point me in the right direction. My thoughts on the mission builder - it works well, when it works, though needs far too much testing to get it working perfectly - which I am sure drives all the mission builders mad? I would like to see a much simpler mission builder, similar to 'COD' with some good programming involved to include programable trigger points etc. When you look at the amount of missions being built, there are not a lot. I think the reason for this, is that it is too hard to learn for the average player to do. Back in the old IL2 Sturmovick days, there were a lot of missions being built because they were easier to build. This made the flight sim very popular because everybody was 'hanging in' for the next great mission to play.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Following my frustration in making the second 'Battle of the Bulge' mission, I solved the problem of the 'ground looping' Fockes - I applied a stiff 8kph breeze on takeoff and it solved the problem. Again the current Mission Builder does work well, though my 'Mission making notebook' is getting bigger and bigger?

This mission is based on historical fact with III./JG54 Green Hearts and a mission that 12./JG54 flew over Bastogne on the 31st Dec 44 led by Staffelkapitan Oblt. Hans Dortenmann.
