Is campaign and fw 190 bugged?

I have troubles with the campaign mode. the routes make no sense at all and always start of the map and nowhere near my home base. Also the flight characteristcs of the fw 190 has change drastically for me its a really bad now. The maneuverability is completely trashed even if i only slightly pull at high speeds i get vibrations and and lose speed drastically.

I haven't played in a while but i didn't have those problems before did they change something or should look into reinstalling the game?

Which campaign (or career)? Why does the route make no sense other than its a longer distance route?

 

Which Fw190? Its flight characteristics haven't changed in quite some time so how was this Fw190 configured? (i.e. bombs, armor, etc.)

 

Reinstalling the game won't change the flight characteristics.

No Armour less then half fuel no bomb, low ammo but 4 20cal. i flown it a lot before and it doensn't fly like at all as it used to... the whole game is just weird so i think it could be a bug and reinstalling might help. and its all the campaigns.

 

this is the kuban acmpaign... i should take off in anapa...

It's a fighter-bomber campaign.

Are you using the U17 mod?

Yep, reinstall the game. Something is borked on your end. That Fw 190 career should be based at Anapa fying the Fw 190 A5 in a ground pounder role.

I had similar problem on Moscow map in my MIG-3 after I landed on a secondary airfield. The next mission made our entire squadron take off deep from the German territory and I had to fly half-an-hour to nearest Russian airfield. This fixed that problem. I think waypoint generation is wonky, because I have no mods.

I had this picture, too. It doesn't mean anything, except there is a bug in the Headquarters section. If you start the mission, everything will run as it should.

If your FW 190 A5 is behaving weird, it is something different. I was flying a few missions some days ago and it was flying as it should.

Are you using the U17 mod?

In april 43 you don't have access to the U/17 modification in career mode. This was changed some updates ago.

^This. Just proceed as normal and on the pre-mission briefing map you'll see the correct waypoints and the mission will play fine.

 

BTW it seems to happen each time when I return to an interrupted career after playing another one. I have never experienced it when playing career missions in sequence.

Fw190 flies as it should on my end, if you're also getting other bugs, double check that there's no weirdness going on with bindings giving you extra rudder inputs or something.

Only issue I've had is ghost inputs but I think that's a power issue or possibly a glitch in my throttle unit. Sure good for a laugh when the landing lights randomly turn on mid mission and the pilot ejects on his own accord just as you come in for a landing.

Ok, that does look wrong.

 

After you've reinstalled, test the aircraft in the QMB first. I'm assuming its the Fw190A-5 that you're flying.

The last update broke the career mode (player starting on airfield in enemy territory, missing squadrons insignia, etc). The problem was reported several times in the technical problems forum and devs said they're working on a fix. The only way you can experience a carrier like mode at the moment Is PWCG (which is great by the way!).

Not my experience at all. I have multiple careers on the go and play one or more of them every day, and none of them have had any issues as have been described above. They are working perfectly for me.

I don't know... From my side both existing and new carreers have been broken in the last two weeks and this flight path error where you start from the far south-west of the map is one of the most common symptoms I'm experiencing.

I am experiencing  the same issue in a Hurricane career on Moscow map.

 

In the initial map the flight path is shown as starting from the SE area in enemy territory (similar shape to screen above). But in the mission itself waypoint locations are correct and the mission proceeds normally.

I completed a Stalindrad A3 campaign and now its Kuban with an A5. I didnt experience any flight path or waypoint issues but I did notice a decrease in performance with one of the latest update. It is much more shaky in tight turns and overall not as good as it was before. However, I think it was a bit overmodeled before? Im still not sure if the FM of the 190 is more realistic now than it was prior to the last big update.
