Vickers S gun skin placement?

Hi everyone,

Apologies for another daft question but I note that the vickers S gun has it's own skin in the hurricane pack, however, if I modify this, where do i put it and how do i get the system to use that with a particular skin over the default colouring?
I'm not up to speed with where this file is kept or how the game utilises it? the default appears to be sky? can i have the game specify a particular colour with a particular skin or is it simply locked to whatever you override the S gun skin with?
