Download Bodenplatte stuck

I bought battle of bodenplatte today, started the launcher to download the game files. The launcher keeps getting stuck with the download. Is there a way to download the game files without the launcher? It first got stuck with just over 200mb downloaded and it resumed after half an hour, now its stuck at 1,94gb and I still have 23gb more to download.

 

I was thinking about buying flying circus too, but not being able to download bodenplatte at a constant rate I guess I have to pass on investing more money on gamemodes I can not download.

Just for your information - you are actually already downloading the whole series of IL2 Great Battles. So, if you decide to buy FC later too, in fact you will only unlock

the content for FC, because it is already in your local installation.
