Question about the Tank Crew. Have they implemented any fixed into the Campaign part of the game? I remember at release of early access when they first released the Campaigns it had a lot of bugs and thats why I have stopped playing it, especially on the first part when playing on the Soviets side.

Yes, Campaign missions have been revised.

Not entirely. There are still bugs (in addition to not being very exciting since we are mainly a spectator (at least for the Russian camapgne, I have not yet tried that of Germany)).

For example, the first 2 missions of the Russian campaign have no description (in the French version anyway)

My issues was on the second and third mission, when I even turn on the "God Mode" just to see if I can "Win", I shoot 20 shells into enemy tank from all possible directions and nothing happens.
Not sure if bug or game design. Is it designed so we should lose the fights?

Some missions were designed to be completed successfully on the player's death. I'll admit that this confused me initially. It's been a while, so I'm not entirely sure which missions still work this way in the current version.

Generally speaking, it's best to play the campaigns as the author intended - following all the waypoints, staying close to your unit, and using the standard realism settings. Many missions don't work properly if you deviate too much. I know that this conflicts with the open-ended experience that some players are looking for, but it is what it is.

I did follow in formation and used default settings. Still was blown to pieces shortly after any encounter. The thing is that until first encounter we drive each time for about 30 min. Not fun.

This is one of the reasons that spoiled my gaming experience with the campaign. I had the feeling that I will unlock the next mission even without having successfully completed the current one.

German campaign is easier but on some situations you are only a spectator. If you are not quick enough mission is over before firing a single shot. If it is true that russian missions are completed with players death it is a very foolish designers decision. It shows that the campaign never was never intendet to be a real campaign.

Well, we've got Tigre88's campaigns and missions, v167 now. And a lot of other nice ones from other makers.

And Zeev, you're right tiger killing with a sherman or Kv1s is very satisfying,

especially with a big fat Nazi commander sticking his head out his sewer's manhole cover ...

A general pity is that all the IL2 campaigns are folder-ed together, with no added sub folders possible.

Makes it all a bit unclear what's installed, and where. Especially with them big tiles.

Should be like the missions are organized IMO.

Hello!

Could you help me how can I start the Campaign? I don't find.

I can start only the four aerial battle in the game under the "Create New Career".

Non steam version.
