Azdack Posted November 27, 2020 Posted November 27, 2020 1- to change the face of a PWCG PaperDoll by its own face with GIMP 2.10.22 (download for free) 2- Make a backup of original PaperDolls in PWCG file. 3- open Gimp. In menu file/open, choose a PaperDoll from PWCG file. Follow Gimp’s way and the PaperDoll will open in Gimp’s main window. 4- In Gimp choose the magnifying glass and click on the image of PaperDoll to enlarge the PaperDoll. maybe twice. Easier to work. 5- In menu file/open as layer, choose a picture of your face. Follow Gimp’s way and the picture of your face will open in main Gimp’s window beside the PaperDoll. 6- With the Gimp’s tool « movement » move your face right on the PaperDoll’s face. 7- With the Gimp’s tool « scale » click on your face which is on the PaperDoll’s face. Your face will become a little bit transparent and you can tune your face with the PaperDoll’s face (location of mouth, eyes, ears.) 8- With the Gimp’s tool « rubber » you click then on your face and you can now erase all what is around your face. The shoulders, the shirt collar, the tie, the cap of the PaperDoll’s will still be there but with your face which is quite funny. Be careful. Don’t touch your face with the rubber cause the PaperDoll’s face which is still under yours will appear again. You can choose different kind of brushes to erase. You can fix any bade erase by choosing « cancel rubber » in Gimp’s menu Edition. 9- Once done in Gimp’s file choose « export as » and show the way of PWCG PaperDolls file. 10- It takes some time to manage but it’s very funny. Thanks to PWCG and the designers of those PaperDolls. 1

Thanks to PWCG and the designers of those PaperDolls. If you want to change the paper dolls face for everybody that is one way to do it. If you want the face change to just be for player pilots do the same thing (make a different PaperDOll.png) but put the new paper doll image into PWCGBoS\User\PaperDoll\<Country>\PaperDoll.png
