Theme Idea

Anyone ever notice how in the Battlefield series, their main theme throughout has a similar tune?

 

Well I was thinking IL-2 could do this as well. Just take their main theme (I consider the RU music from 1946 to be the main theme) and remix or redo it completely for every game. Perhaps someone with musical talent in the IL-2 community could even do this for our existing 5 games. (Forgotten Battles, Ace's Expansion Pack, Pacific Fighters, 1946, and Cliffs of Dover) and even for our mod packs (Ultr@Pack, HSFX, SAS, and AAA [not really a mod pack but whatever]).

Actually we are working at a completely new music theme for BoS, so no worries - the old one's not to get a new chance

Good to know Zak - one of my first acts in Il2 back in Forgotten Battles, was to to turn off the music.

lol... as soon as I could replace the music in IL2 with a more appropriate set I did it. Thank god you could drop wav files in and get rid of the original..

Good to hear we are getting a revamp for this one though
