Generate training flights

Patt, I've always wondered if you could add an option were we can manually generate a training flight for co-op campaigns. I've had friends getting into IL-2 that had barely any knowledge of flying, and generating a co-op mission that actually has all the stuff spawning just to fly around and learn the basics was a bit overkill.

Wouldn't it be possible to generate just a waypoint-less spawn-less training mission just to fly around and learn the planes?

Hello, you can actually host the stock (or from servers) "dogfight" mission then pick a plane and fly freely with respawn possibility !

Might be doable.  I have a test mechanism that only puts out the player's flight.  If I turned that into a training fight it would suit the purpose.

No.  PWCG can be played competitively but no respawn.  It sounds like what you are looking for is a dogfight server.  PWCG is not that but there are plenty of those out there.

Would be nice to have to get a friend or 2 into the game while also being there with them.
