Looking for a squadron

Hello Gents,

 

I just got FC yesterday and oh what a glorious looking game!  Got to hop on the server for a little but would really like to join an active squad. I am in USA on east but have a lot of time off until the new year so will be on at many different times.  Looking for a squad that I can fly an Se5 in. I have discord, trackir and oculus rift s. Thanks in advance !

I think there is 1 or 2 se5 squadrons in FC not sure, not a popular plane in FC. Fast yes but kind of crumbles under any little stress thrown at it. You can always hang out with us 20's and fly escort but we mostly use team speak. We have a couple of VR users as well. Grab team speak and hang with us, it's free. Oh we're a Bristol squad but also fly other fighters once in a while.

Small technical point is that the Thursday Fly-in is hosted on the Flugpark server but was.originally and continues to be a 3rd Pursuit Groups event.  Jasta 5 is pleased and proud to support the community with the Flugpark server (along with financial support from various additional commumity members) featuring missions created by J99_Sizzlor.

 

It is all a community effort.

Kotori and I should be on tonight. I consider myself mostly an Entente flyer, bouncing between SE5, Camel, and Bristol, though recently I've been trying some of the Central planes just to get a taste of the opposite side and see if the grass really is greener over there.

Ahh no way. We are/were but a small part. I can say without a doubt we certainly don't claim ownership of "it" - I don't mean that in a negative way either. We're just glad it's keepin on keeping on!

Try both the SE5a and Spad XIII  in FC. Alternate between the two and pick the one you do better with. They're both energy fighters, but each handles a little differently in FC. I'd normally be an SE5a guy, but the FC SE5a may not handle the same as the SE5a you've handled in other simulators. In FC, I like the Camel and the Bristol F.III.

Yeah I can tell the Se5 isn’t the same as ROF but I have made an effort to just fly that for now on FC and fly conservative to its strengths I just can’t wait to fly with others and not have to lone wolf it so much.  

All my settings are finally dialed in to my likings for the oculus too so I’m ready to rock. God this game in VR is glorious!

No had to lone wolf it but saw a few of you No.20 guys but they dropped out shortly after I got going. Hope to fly with you all soon

We'll be on at around 12 noon PST. Join us if you can tomorrow, Sunday is  good crowd day, Last Thursday was thanksgiving for our US of A brothers and sisters so not as many on as usual.
