I have a problem again. I had to install Win 10 again and after that a miraculous problem started.
1. Every time I open Bos, I am required to log in to my account ... this has not happened before .
2. Most campaigns do not open
3. Some campaigns do not appear in the menu.
Could anyone help me?

After windows reinstall, how are you running the game? Have you used the installer to run it and then close and replace the files or did you just run the game without doing any installation? Is it a Steam version?

I first removed via Steam and then reinstalled it

I did it all over again, deleted the entire folder Il2 Sturmovik, from my computer. Before that, I set the Campaigns folder aside.
I downloaded Il2 from Steam again. I added the Campaigns folder and launched Il2. I noticed that Hell Hawks over The bulge campaing was locked. Also, other campaigns were just labeled "Mission description is loading" ... and that's it. Does not work.
Can anyone tell me what's wrong here?

This is typical and only occurs to downloaded free campaigns or missions. Why? These missions/campaigns were built on older game versions and need to be

resaved again in the ME (Mission editor). Some authors of those campaigns/missions already did this for you, so you only need to download them again as new.

Just make sure these missions have been altered recently (original download post on this forum).

As for your campaigns you have bought, they shouldn't be locked. So there must be something wrong here. For example:

- You changed your username or password?

- You are sure your password/email is correct, but you still need to enter it every time you launch your game? Then:

   - Make sure that your startup.cfg file is not set to read-only. Right-click the file and check the properties.

*To avoid trouble in the future and to avoid always download your game again, which btw. does not always resolve issues (in fact rarely!), make sure NOT to

install your game in the default location (f.ex. program files). This is not very favorable, if you ask me, because Windows OS sometimes does weird things

with the rights management. I strongly suggest to:

- Create an own folder like f.ex.: 777Studio\IL2-Great Battles, Games\IL2-Great Battles etc. on the root of your hard disk.

Hope, these suggestions will help you to sort this out.

Cheerio
