Atlantia39 Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 Just curious...does anybody see odd things from time to time? This AM I saw a Me-110 at low altitude...nobody attacking it...pull up and hammerheaded straight down and plowed into the ground. Entertaining I must say! 1

=J18=FritzGerald Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 I've had this happen multiple times since the last update, it seems to affect all AI aircraft, but only in quick missions so far that I've noticed, I had 4 C47s do it one after another, one would peel out of formation and then pull up, stall and go head first into the ground, and then the next one would do the same thing until they all had crashed, the same thing occored with 4 Pe2s they did the exact same thing not even trying to manuver just pulling up, stalling, and crashing into the ground. And this all happened when I was about 8miles away, no enemy aircraft near them at all.
PatrickAWlson Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 Happening over and over and over in dogfights n PWCG. I do think it has to do with the fatigue model. Either the AI is pushing too hard and blacking out or .. well, if not that then no idea. My fellow 190 pilots, who used to be near suicidal, seem to be doing better. I am mostly seeing it in Russian planes like the Yak and LaGG. It is definitely not limited to one plane type.
norsetto Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 Just saw it on 2 109 and 2 spits during a career mission too.?

I've seen the phenomenon happen in both Quick Missions and in Campaign Generator Missions.
Ram399 Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 I hate sounding pessimistic but it seems to me like there has been somewhat of a decline in the AI's competence overall in the last 2 builds since 4.501. This is most likely due to the new fatigue system though and I'm sure it'll be worked out before long.
Atlantia39 Posted November 17, 2020 Author Posted November 17, 2020 The C-47 AI is all bollocks up. I didn't attack just flew by them a few times and its like they panic...2 collided and 2 more tried to pull high G turns and plowed into the forest.

In the QMB I regularly see bombers decide to fly-inverted and get stuck in that flight mode...
Mika_87 Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 I am sure that it will be fixed. Now it is impossible to shoot all enemy aircrafts down, just because they crash before you can even shoot them.
