Tomi_099 Posted November 15, 2020 Posted November 15, 2020 (edited) Original Uniform when sun is the figure backed or in the shadows of a tree I get such an unpleasant look. I don't know how to solve it. The active shadows are great but the static ones create this look. I suspect they are related to the animation. In addition, the light effects have been improved by the patch, but unfortunately this has an effect on the animated figure. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler The more the face is lighter, the more the effect is intensified Spoiler Edited December 17, 2020 by Tomi_099
SR603-Flowbee Posted November 15, 2020 Posted November 15, 2020 I think this is could be related to an ongoing problem with your calibration but I have also noticed a shader issue in the cockpit but figured it was related to my use of 3Dvision. It could also be due to the way that the game is pushing out sheen (shining) way beyond normal limits. Sorry but I have not managed to pin this down other than removing the broken shader which creates another problem as this is a mod that is banned from use in multiplayer. Maybe it will eventually get fixed again in a future patch. Not sure why things are being pushed like this but it could be related to improving VR which looks a bit crap in terms of contrast and also tends to look a bit dull. A kind of one size fits all compensation. 1

Too bad that you can't show the error! maybe the active shadow would be enough the upper at the beginning of the nose overlap the active and the static, therefore the dark effect is intensified!
