DarkWolf29 Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 I was working on a P-38 skin with olive drab\neutral grey camouflage and noticed some grey on the top of the ends of the elevator near the hinge. I tracked down where that bit of texture is on the template but it seems to use the same bit for both ends, top and bottom. I made it red so it shows clearly in these screenshots : On a bare metal aircraft this is not an issue as it's all natural metal top and bottom. So I'm wondering is this a limitation in how they textured the 3D model or is this area something mechanical related to the hinge of the elevator that would not have been painted? Anyone know? DW
