Hurricane Gets Louder After Throttling Down

When I pull back on the throttle, to land for example, the engine sound of the Hurricane becomes very loud, much louder than when I have the throttle wide open. I have a time-stamped example from a recent stream below. Notice the drone of the engine becomes louder when I cut back and the alarms start going off. I'm not referring to the alarms, but rather the drone of the engine itself. It goes from modestly quiet to surprisingly loud. I even made a comment when I noticed it mid-stream. Engine volume eventually dies back down as the RPMs drop, but the initial surge in volume is distracting and doesn't seem quite right.

Btw LOVE the hurricane. 1CGS really out-did themselves on this one, very enjoyable aircraft to fly.

I have noticed this too. Seems like a sound bug, I feel like the engine shouldn't be that much louder when you are putting less power into it. If there is a reason for it, I don't know what it is.

Is it some kind of resonance phenomena? I recall from carraces such effects when they went into curves the sound went up for  short while before it died down.
