X52 Hat switches & Buttons not binding

Hey chaps,

 

I'm having the same problem with my X52. Axis are working fine, as are the fire buttons and slide on the throttle. I have been trying to set up the T1 - T6 buttons at the base of the stick and the rotary buttons on the throttle, with no luck. The hats on the stick for trim etc, don't bind either.

 

I have checked to see if the buttons/hats etc are working on the HOTAS itself and all are lighting up, so not a hardware issue.....

 

Damn frustrating to say the least.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I have an X-52 and (almost) everything binds.  On the throttle the mini joystick and the scroll wheel won't bind and I can't use the mode switch on the joystick but everything else does work.

Have you tried unplugging and re-plugging in the joystick with the computer off?

if you set the mini stick as bands you can use it fine similar for the mouse button if you remove its mouse emulation. I have mini stick for set range and wingspan for gunsights that have the facility, Also have no trouble with T1 to T6 but do have them set via the hotas s/w. This is with X52 pro - not entirely sure if you are referring to that. the only button I do not have bound is scroll button - but thats only because it has dirt in it and does not work reliably
