10x Hurricane Giveaway

I had this happen to me once--I tried to gift a copy of BoS to a wargaming friend and in the end asked him to buy it then gifted him the money through another friend's paypal account. I was very upset and it almost made me cease buying direct. Since then I've got another bank account that xsilla seems to like more and haven't had the same problem giving stuff away. I do wish they could use some other vendor, but despite the many complaints they seem to be married to the system and I just accept it that and am glad my current account seems more acceptable. Since then I've gifted a bunch of other modules/planes and not had any grief.

I guess you can. Once the DLC is in the shopping cart, at checkout Steam allows you to purchase for yourself or to gift someone - but this gifted person must have an Steam account and Il-2 Battle of Stalingrad (the "base" game) in it.

If there is a bright side to the delay it's causing, at least now the Hurri is on sale so your kindness might cost you a little less.
