Our latest patch will be available in the next 24hrs.

 

Here is the changelog:

 

*** Spitfire V's:  Corrected high altitude speeds

*** Hurricane II's:  Corrected high altitude speeds

*** Fix: Beaufighter 1C won't drop bombs when player is in Observer
position.

*** Translation RU: Some fixes in the GUI.

*** Sound Fix: Remaining issues with looping stress sounds should be
resolved

*** Sound Fix: Low volume 109 cannons

*** Sound Fix: Revised internal and external Allison sounds

*** Sound Fix: Revised Jumo series RPM tracking

*** Sound Fix: General Optimizations and bugfixes

Hey guys, the problem with that neverending stress noise is (apparently) resolved. BUT, first, you'll need to empty or delete your cache folder in the game's main folder:

 

Documents --> 1C SoftClub --> il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover --> cache

 

So, it's very simple you mates:

 

1) Upgrade your game up to version 5.012 (simply launch the BLITZ game on Steam and Steam will do the work for you).

 

2) Exit your game.

 

3) Delete the "cache" folder inside "il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover".

 

4) Launch again your game... and have fun.

 

I was desappointed today when I tried the game and encountered the stress noise bug after a few tests... but then I remembered that I didn't delete my "cache" after the update and... bingo! that was the problem! The above 4-step procedure should help you to say "bye bye" to this annoying bug.

Yep, I needed to remember to clear, empty, or delete the cache folder after> all new updates, all is swell.
