Saving different key maps ?

I noticed that, unlike the original IL-2 Sturmovik, there doesn't seem to be the ability to save more than a single set for command mapping.
So how should we behave if we want to temporarily change the control devices, or use an alternative command mapping.
I think you need to save the copy of its file and replace it with a new one.
I believe this file should be in the "input" folder, probably "current.map" and / or "current.actions".
It's correct ?

Yes, save this two files.

 

Can create a sub folder inside "Input", e.g. name as plane specific or default and drop files there.

 

You need load the correct file for a given plane  before start the game, after loaded the game don't see changes in this files.

 

Can use a Mode manager, or an old school .bat for speed replace files.

Use JSGME. I have a profile for Allied, LW and one for tanks. It is a simple change before starting the sim. You can have as many as you want.
